More than a lodge, our lodges are beautifully appointed, cosy and indulgent holiday retreats with all mod cons, excellent insulation, and with the addition of the hot tub, it is an all year round destination.

THINGS TO DO LOCALLY
You can see the site of both the Red and Purple rides of the 7Stanes from the lodge . This beautiful area has so much to offer. As well as the renowned mountain biking, The Galloway Forest Park is the UK’s largest and there are hidden waterfalls, wildlife and lochs and on a clear night it is one of the best places in the western world to view the stars.
For foodies this is the land of milk and honey and you can sample some great cuisine at a choice of restaurants across the country.
Castle Douglas is known as The Food Town and you can savour the flavours at an excellent choice of shops.
The New Loch Arthur Farm Shop at Beeswing is just a mile away and offers local home made cheeses and everyday items. Dumfries and Galloway is one of Scotland’s best kept secrets; come and see why!
